Hi to all, I started posting here a few weeks ago searching for a MKIV. But life´s full of surprises, I got a chance on a Triaxis and a 2:90, so the Mark will have to wait until I get back my sold soul from the devil.

I´m from Chile, S. America, and I´m using two 110/220v external transformers -one for each rack piece-. I´ve found anywhere the 2:90´s power requirements (Triaxis´ can be easily found on its owner´s manual), so, does anybody here know the 2:90´s power requirements, in watts? (I want to be sure I´m using a correct transformer for it).

Other thing I´d like to know is, I´m going on tour this weekend, by plane. Units will be racked. Is it better to remove tubes from both units during the flight? And what do you guys do with the typical tons of cable kept at the inside´s back of the rack? Do you protect the tubes from this with a special cover, or something?

Another one: on my 2:90, the 1/2 Drive´s red light shines normally when mode is activated. But, used in conjunction with, Deep, or Modern, or the three of them, the same 1/2 Drive light shines very weak, while the other modes´lights do work well all the time when activated. What could be going on, doctor? Tube-fail or something else?

I´ll be so grateful with your advice!

Nicholas.

chile humm I'm from Brazil buddy.
Como estas ai,tudo bem ?
Well you don't need taking out tubes but you can protect them with plastico com bolhas .
I don't know how it is called in english.
Maybe bubble plastic :
That plastic with air bubbles.
Fill the space between tubes with that bubble plastic and they will be well protected

moito obrigado, amigos! 18&Life, I got it perfectly about what you mean. But suddenly I remembered the words "microphonic tubes" and that made me decide to pull out tubes and carry them with me onboard.

Take care

Nicholas.
