I'm using the Eurotubes EL34L set with ECC83S preamp tubes. I'm still getting a little bit too sizzly for my taste. How would Tung Sol effect the sound in V1? Tremoverb users unite!
I'm using the Red Modern channel at gain 1 o'clock and master at 9:15 o'clock. Wow is it loud at this setting. Pulling tubes it's still so loud at 9-10 o'clock. I'm almost there, just a little less sizzly.....
anyone use the 803S or the 83s Gold?
