Hey guys,
I’m waiting on parts for a filter cap job on my rev g dual rec. I noticed one of my coupling caps (C28 on the schematic) is burnt up. It is measuring properly at .02uF, but decided to replace it while I’m in there.
So my question is, where can I find a 715 series orange drop .02 400+v replacement cap? For the life of me, I cannot find an identical replacement.
Closest thing I can find is this
https://www.amplifiedparts.com/prod...6Kj4jxstuMrwx-0QnLMZHsWpcT9tHjI_soYSOuTNf75XQ
Would this work? I’m not seeing the 715 series anywhere on that listing, really want to keep everything the same as it came from MB.
Doesn’t look like this amp was ever serviced - no service stickers/identifiers anywhere in the chassis so she’s due for a nice cleanup after 25 years.
Also, as side note - yes, there’s a surprising amount of flux on the solder joints all throughout the board which you can see some in the one picture which I will be cleaning up with some 99% isopropyl alcohol!
