Too cool for school! Great collection, thanks mate.

What a nice family. I'm sure they don't give you headaches.
Read the 240V........ I thought, "Aussie?"....... sure enough, I need to take a trip to Canberra. To meet the PM....... not!

HI Blaklynx,
well if Julia won't see you, yr very welcome to call in and swap toon/tea/lies/beer at my place..!!
Equally, I'm more than happy for folks to contact and call in.
Hell, even the guys from over the pond surely must visit Oz at times for work or play??!!
re 240v - I fell on my feet on that one..
A local retired guy set up his workshop near Canberra.
And it gets better.
He was a tech who specialised in transformers...
He studied the circuit and then the physical amp, designed and built the tranny, installed, checked and returned to my door.
Outstanding service and the MkIII rocks like am amp posessed !!!
kEEP ROCKIN'..

Thanks for the offer! I have no idea when and if I'll ever be through/past Canberra. Who knows? Maybe there'll be a 1mill people march about this carbon tax....lol

Now, that tech sounds interesting. Talk about luck. I've got a 120V Mesa 2:50 poweramp that could do with a heart transplant. I contacted the Mesa dealer here in OZ and the quote? Near on $600! PLUS I have to post it. What a ripoff! That was about 2yrs ago. Now, if there's anyway I could get a quote from your tech.......phone number/email????? In fairness, I could probably get Sherlock amps or someone here to wind up one, considering the postage cost to Canberra + your tech's fees. Never mind, still worth a shot though to compare costs.

Recording sessions:
Marshall P.A.100 (1968/1970(?)) restored by my cousin/tech PJM;
amp without case its a prototype inspired on the marshall plexy but runs two 6L6 + two EL34;
my Dual Rectifier;
on top of the recto is another amp by PJM inspired in the Marshall JCM 2555 but with special extras.

The Line 6's, to give an extra hand on the recordings.

My current collection. Not pictured is my latest addition, a Marshall 6100LM. Picked it up a few weeks ago for $350.

My modest rig. This is from '09. I've added another guitar and a few pedals since then.
