Hey guys. Recently I sold my 2x12 vertical recto cab and picked up a Port City OS 2x12. It's loaded with a Private Jack and a Texas Heat. I just love this cab. Very similar to the Bogner OS 2x12 but that one had V30s in it. I'm becoming a big fan of Eminence speakers. I've got a pair of Governors in my Port City OS 1x12 cabs as well. The Mark IV is only going through the 2x12 cab though. The 1x12 cabs are for the Axe FX Ultra. I use the TC Nova System with the Amp Gizmo to switch channels and functions on the Mark IV as well as for effects. A great compact rig.

Just picked up the Mark V this week (off these forums, haven't got to play it much yet) as well as the Marshall Cab.

Marshall 1960 BV (vintage 30`s) Mark IIc+ factory org long head DRG /105 pt/sylvania 6l6`s)

Simpel and sounds godly, rack pretty empty at the moment but will get some effects units , and proberly another mark amp that is rack mounted.
But getting the c+ services and cleaned up is priorty is nr one.

The c+ is sensitiv to mains noise so i use a exactpower unit that seperats the mains power so the power for the c+ as clean ap.

Here's the current rig:
Mark IV medium head
Vertical Recto 2x12 loaded with EVM12L Classics and an old Carvin 4x12 is loaded with Carvin BR-12 British Series 100 watt speakers.
A couple of my guitars: 1981 Gibson V and a 2006 Gibson SG Std.

Picked up a MINT RoadKingI and got an Avatar Contemporary G212 with a K100 and a V30. Honestly, I'm digging the K100 more than the V30 but I'm gonna give a few more weeks of breaking before I decide the victor.

^^the pics that were supposed to show up in his post. I found this head up in Concord, NC for him. Sweet deal, got to play through it a few times before I met him
to give it to him a few days ago. It was basically like finding a NOS RK 1. Less than 10 hours on the tubes(til I got a hold of it  ), everything perfect, and in mint condition...and it wasn't a floor model in a store. Very low Serial # too.

That is so sick looking! Do you know the story behind those flame edition Rectos and cabs? I have seen them on the internet but wasn't sure if was just a customized dual from the factory or from someone else.

Thanks. I have the letter of authenticity and run tags from Mesa showing it was a run of 85 total head and cabs. Half had vertical flames, the other horizontal. #69 in the pic. Mike

That is ridiculous! wow! thanks for sharing... I think if i had that I would look at it all day long for two weeks.
When did Mesa make this?

thanks again

Thanks for the compliment. I believe around 2001-2002 was the date of builds. I bought it from a friend of mine that owned a local music store that ordered it from Mesa. We struck a deal shortly before he passed away in 2002. Grim story, with a happy ending. He knew I would take very good care of it. Mike

Thanks for the compliments. I guess the picture doesn't really show that the black is as shiny as a car. Here is the link to the diamond plate. http://www.cutsmetal.net/

First Mesa :D yay!
Now I just have to build a new pedal board :) Right now there's just a TS9 and a Boss NS-2 in front.
The 212 has g12k-100s in it. (My favorite speaker :D)

Also, that guitar was signed by Allan Holdsworth :)
