I'm still new to using pedals and so have read some pedal layout guides online. [I know. Danger! ]
The first layout I made for my board had the signal path go from Left to Right, which is how I read and is my default way of thinking about a signal process. Articles from guitar mags suggest a Left to Right layout, too.
BUT... the pedals I own have the physical inputs and outputs suggesting the reverse, that my signal path should be going from Right to Left! The Crybaby Wah Instrument input is on the right and the Amplifier output is on the left. Triangle Big Muff and Tumnus both have Input on the right and Output on the left, too.
I get that it all comes down to personal preference but what can an experienced user tell me about this curious situation?
