A Late HunRee with a graphic is pretty nice, but the cleaning is no where near my standards. The serial is probably around 78/79.
I would put $ 700 in and leave a little room for maintenance. Judging by the transformer and the speaker, it has been in a humid area. It may need a good transformer cleaning and coating. Electronically, MK I's are a dream to work on. They are very simple with tons of room to move around. the graphic is the real kicker. It totally creates another level of tone from those amps.

I'd buy it, but you've got dibs. :D

meh. I dont have 800 beans to blow yet another amp. especially since I am trying to thin the herd. (had 5 amps, now I'm down to 2). just thought it seemed like a good deal. my mark III looks a lot worse than that. I should have it cleaned up. its all you if you want to pick it up man.

rust can kill a transformer if left unchecked. it greatly increases the life of the transformer. which, in the case of the mark I, or IIC+, is really the life of the amp. after the tranny dies it just never sounds the same

Geez! Man, Ed... Your gear list fills my screen and I am running high res. That is crazy...

well, I'd like to have that many amps, but I'm not a rock star *yet*. do you have some kind of major label record deal? cause how can you afford all those?

It looks good on a 24 inch IMac. It's like being at a drive in.

Here's the rub.

You can have all this crap, but once you get it, somthing will keep you from using it. It's like a museum. All the gear is covered and cased.
Lately, I have been working my day job from 8-5:30, driving an hour to get home. I eat, then start on a boat load of projects and mods. I see my kids for 2 seconds, then get back to work until I about pass out. Like Robert Plant said, " I been workin' from 7 to 11 every night". I'm almost done with everything and I will be happy to be out of the woods. I'm going to take the Howard Alexander Dumble approach in 2007. One at a time. Hell, I even threw in a set of pickups in my boss's strat last night and set it up. It never ends !!!! I run around like a lone bee pollinating and acre.

I need a vacation. :(

Plug in every amp .( with suitable guitar plugged in of course )
Have someone videotaping your electric meter while this is going on .
( I guess you'd have to do this with friends over )
Turn on each amp . Crank the bastids ! ( hearing/eye protection suggested )
Maybe you'd want a 2nd roving camera man/women to record the carnage :
plaster melting , polar reversal , tsumami's etc ...
Could be fun . Should you decide to accept this mission , I will not disavow any knowledge of it .
Hmmm . what would be an acceptable tune for such an endeavor ?
B.

there is only one tune suitable for such an endeavor. but be advised. it could conjour the stay-puft marshmallow man.
