NOS Mazda ECC83 (12AX7) - anyone ever try them??

I am thinking about trying out some Mazda ECC83 (european 12AX7 equivalent), but due to a recent spending spree, I need to decide between the Mazda's and a few other tubes that I know more about. I have a Mark IV widebody, play almost exclusively in the lead channel with the gain near 8.5. I am looking for another tube for my V2 slot that will not rob any gain/distortion, but will add some warmth and depth to the rythum channels.

I actually have RCA7025's in V1 & V2 now, and RCA6681 in the PI, RFT in V3. I am looking for a slightly different color for my V2, and have read good things about the Mazda's, but no first hand accounts in a Boogie.
