Master Volume Mod

Noob here wanting to do the master volume mod to my DC-5. I’ve spent the entire afternoon looking through threads (and on Google and YouTube) trying to find a photo so that don’t cut the wrong thing but no luck. There were a thread or two that had photos at one time but they aren’t available.

Anyway, I took a photo to upload here. Do I d/c the yellow circle or the red? Or have I completely missed it?

Sorry for put this thread again to live one year later...but i am in the same situation...
I want to do the mod volume to my DC-5, but i can't find wich resistor i have to cut.
It's the yellow or the red?
Any other recomendation?

You have to give people something to go by. When you say “the” mod it makes me think you can link us to what you are trying to do. Is this mod documented somewhere? What is the mod supposed to achieve?

Both of the circled parts look like power supply components and not where I’d go to mod the “volume” unless you want zero volume.
