Hey there,

So I just installed 5 Tung Sol pre's (positions 1, 2, 3, 4 and 7) and 4 Winged C 6L6's into my Mark V.

Everything was snug and secure, I turned on the amp, waited about 30 seconds turned off stand-by and there was no sound, not even amp noise.

Should I re-check the tubes or leave the amp on longer? I just don't want to make any mistakes that will do permanent damage.

Thanks!

id' recheck everything.

wires, cords, tubes. etc.

make sure you didnt inadvertantly excavate something.

Double check that the input and speaker cables are plugged in (all the way in), and that your guitar's volume isn't on zero.

Those are the ones that usually catch me.

Check your fuse and also did you blug all the tubes in correctly ? Is it possible that some of the pins on your preamp tubes may have been bent ?
