NEW RACK

OK so I am new to rack stuff, always used a head and cab or combo amps, Now I am receiveing lots of new RACK Gear, attached is a picture of what I am getting, anyone able to help me wire it up correctly.....
Also the G-minor I saw once can control the Recto Pre channel switching along with the different patches whether you have them on a clean or dirty channel...The Furman I know its just a plug-in station to keep the FX from power surges and all so that one I can figure out

I don't know a lot about setting up the G Major to change your channels but I do know you should run straight into your Recto Pre, then to the G-Major, run the stereo outs into the bbe, so run the left into channel A and the right into channel B, then run the outputs of the BBE into the power amp channels you want. With that you will get your great Recto tone first, your effects next and let the BBE do it's thing last. Everything will be split into stereo and it should sound really sweet.

Some else could could give you advice on how to set up the G-major for channel switching.

So I go from the 2 "Live outs" on the Recto Pre into the 2 balanced inputs on the G-major, then the 2 outputs from the G-major in the stereo inputs ch A and ch B of the BBE, then from the BBE outs into the "Recto" inputs of the 2:100 power amp since it has the inputs just for the Recto Pre,

Do I not use the FX loop of the Recto Pre or if so how??

You technically could run the gmajor into the effects loop of your Pre but you won't see many people with a rack set up doing it that way. The whole point of a rack is to have them run in series without having to deal with effects loops. You can run just one of the outs of the Recto Pre into the mono in of the G-major since the signal from the Pre isn't really stereo and then the G-major would make it stereo going to the seperate sides of the BBE and then to the seperate sides of the power amp

Thanks one more question any type of cable, instrument or speaker to run from one rack to the other except from the power amp into the cab that is speaker cable correct? even small patch cables are ok to go from rack piece to rack piece?? or do they need special cables?

no you don't need any special cable. normal instrument cables will work. Just make sure to use a speaker cable after your power amp to your speakers. Other than that patch cables will be fine. For the best sound though do look for good quality cables of any kind

I have this setup, but instead of a tc electronics unit, i'm using an eventide eclipse.

I tried a few wiring options when i got my 2:100 last week, and the best sounding arrangement so far is this..
I have live outs from the recto pre- 1 channel goes into the eventide, the other channel goes directly into my rackmount mixer ( i use the mixer so i can use my roland vg-88 into the system when needed). So i have a totally dry signal going into the mixer, and then my stereo outs from the eventide. The stereo eventide outs go into the mixer- the mixer stereo outs go into the bbe maximizer, and the bbe outs go into the recto pre inputs on the 2:100.
Sounds insanely good!
