I used my EBMM Petrucci through the Mark IV. All lead was done on the Lead channel through the neck pickup. All rhythm guitars were recorded on Rhy 2. No boosts were used on this clip at all. I winged the solos during the middle of the tune (a couple of spots you can tell I had no where to go).

Do you like the tones so far?

I know I'm the minority here, but I find the tone on your clips to be overly compressed, killing the "life" of your playing. Not sure whether you intended it that way or whether the recording/mixing process caused it.

Sounds good to me. I hear alot of Satch in your style. As for compression... no more than Joe would use. If it's good enough for him, it's good enough for me. BTW I'm a Satch fan. He's style is so tasty.

Hey man you get some sick lead tones on your mark, whereas I am still struggling. It is getting better, though. do you mind posting some settings?
