Hey folks, i,m a long time lurker and now the proud owner of a nearly mint DC5 b, already done the series loop mod but need a little advice on the mains light, the original owner had the bulb pack up and lost it so i could do with knowing if its a mains viltage(240) or off the heater tap(6.6 ish).
Also any advice on getting a bit more gain on the lead channel, its great for most things but occasionaly i need a bit more when i,m useing a strat rather than my Gibbo or Prs. Thanks in advance and great site :)

use a line booster or a tube screamer.

tried something similar with a love pedal kanji with the drive set to minimum and the level up, coloured my tone to much for my taste although it sounds great on my Dumble clone

The bulb should be a 6.3 volt Fender style.

For more gain, I set the EQ to a reverse V.
I use the EQ for solos and not for my rhythm.

I also use a BYOC OD-2, Distortion +, and I just got a SLOstortion pedal.
Yeah, they color the tone, but man they make the amp sing!

The Distortion + with the gain maxed out on the lead channel (with the gain above 8) makes the sound very liquid! Gobs of sustain!
