Nervous About This Clip: Andy Timmons Content

I was listening to his album Resolution tonight and felt inspired to post a short clip of his tune Deliver Us. I was playing around on RHY2 and found a tone I really liked.

My playing is really sketchy since I learned it while recording the clip. More than anything I liked the tone I dialed in.

I wasn't trying to cop Timmons tone. His has less gain for sure. I used a clean boost on RHY2 to compensate for recording at very low volumes.

Do you like the tone? I will try to learn more of the tune and put my own lead over the top. I would like to record at higher volume without the boost. I like how it sounded in the room.

sure, that definitely sounded good. is the boosted r2 close to how an unboosted lead channel sounds, or do they have a different voicing?
