need help achieving THIS tone!

i have a road king series 1. i have the sm57 and the e609

i have dimarzio pickups

i have a C tuned guitar

i have pretty much all the stuff.



please help. im pretty sure its ch4 with 2 6L6 dry effects loop (maybe some dbx compression???)



i know petrucci hates presence i think it sounds like its kinda scooped. from what im hearing its like scooped mids but ont scooped mids. sounds very brittle. thats the best word. brittle. its the TOT tone in general but this video really does it for me.



he has a lot of mids i can tell but it sounds like there is some weird eqing going on. how do you guys think that that tone is recorded? is it through the camera its def no the 57s on the cab he has right? i think its the camera.


please help ive been looking for this for years.
