Need 2x12 cab for Roadking II

Would you recommend the 2x12 road king cab? I play a lot of hard rock. Mostly in the style of Mark Tremonti (Alter Bridge, Creed). Recommend me one please.

The RK version has one side open back, which doesn't suit your hard rock playing style it seems.. you'd prob be better off with the recto 2x12 horizontal cab.

How would the cleans sound with that 2X12 recto with vintage 30s?

I use one with my Dual Rec but I cannot comment on the cleans as I rarely use the cleans on my DR, hopefully someone can comment on the RK specifically.

I think it's a fantastic cab personally, sounds huge with a recto.

does petrucci use road king cabs or recto cabs?

Tremonti uses 15" speakers for his cleans, and uses a fender amp.

I think tweed with a C30 sounds pretty close to what Tremonti sounds like.
I'd prolly get a recto cab.

The Road King II's cleans sound excellent through a 2x12 V30 cab....when I audioned it before placing my order, it was through a 2x12 Recto cab, and the cleans were breath taking....

Take this from a clean roots player at the core (Jazz/R&B/Latin)
