This is my first time enjoying the 'new amp smell'
Took 4 weeks to show up... but they sent a long head - not the medium i ordered...
So they ended up sending me the med head shell - offered me some custom options. i went with the silver piping, which i think looks really sharp.

Having a blast playing it so far... i've been so used to the EL84 chime (5 years with my F-30) that the low end of the ED has been a jawdropping experience in many ways. It's sitting atop a 112 3/4 back which, for those of you who don't know - is an AWESOME cab!

Life is good 8)
Cheers...

Wow, that is a nice rig. I really like the silver piping, also like your pedals. Is there anything that the old F-30 can hold onto as better than the ED ?

Wishing for Santa to bring me somehting very similar to what you have

Thanks guys...

"Is there anything that the old F-30 can hold onto as better than the ED ?"

well - the F-30 has been my #1 amp for a while now...

i love every sound i get out of the ED so far, but one of my favorite lead guitar sounds comes the F-30 with the BB preamp gained up... and the F-30 on drive with the TS9 kicked in is brutally aggressive and badass sounding...
of course now i'm finding all kinds of new tones to fall in love with on the ED - and it is clearly the new favorite.

i plan on keeping both the ED and the F-30 - so i have my choice of cleans - massive ED or chimey F-30... and drives - ED or the more modern & aggressive F-30. also - i do at least 50% of my playing between 5 & 6 AM whilst the wife and kidlets sleep. using headphones on the recording output on the F-30 may not be perfect - but it beats anything else i've tried at 5 AM!

in regards to the pedals... i've hardly used them with the ED - but so far - The BB sounds great with the clean channel - but not as good as the Analogman TS9Silver - which kicks *** equally on all three modes. that's obviously just one more schmuck's opinion!
