Hey guys!

Ive got a head track remote switch that I've been sent by someone who wants it remaking with 2 leds instead of the dual.

I don't have a mesa head track here to test it with, so I'm going in a little dark! I'm guessing that the tip carries 3v to power the LED (which is common anode looking at the board).

I'm guessing the ring carries - 3v from the head track via the TRS cable?

I've dropped mesa an email but didn't get a reply.

It could be possible that there is AC being sent, and the diodes are out of phase, one turning on with the positive half, one turning on with the negative half.
There are a few fender amps that did that on their footswitch.

If you attach a schematic, I can tell you and explain how it works, otherwise we are only guessing but it is unlikely to be AC.
