Can't wait for mine! Ordered today with a Pewter front :)

Will be nice to compare it with the Mark V.

I have a Mark V also and the Mini is a different world almost. Ch 1 clean and pushed is Mark territory, but ch 2 is all Recto. I've had a couple Duals and I love the Recto tone cranked, but the Duals are just too load for me in my older age now. And that's where the Mini Rec comes in... U can get really good cranked tones at low volumes and that and portability is the reason I got the Mini. What kind of cab are u gonna use with your mini? I'm really thinking of gettin the Mini 1x12 rather than a 2x12.

Hey Adam, I asked you some questions on the MLP forum :) Thanks for the comments, it was the final push to grab one haha.

Right now I have a Marshall 1936 2x12" with GT75's in it and one Egnater Rebel 112x with a Lead 80.

I think I'll have to get one with a Vintage 30 in the future just because it's such a popular speaker (and to complete my Petrucci fan-boy set haha). The mini recto cab looks like a VERY VERY sexy V30 cab actually...

Yea the Mini cab sure looks awesome, and heard it sound pretty big... But you can get a used 2x12 Mesa cab for the same price. I'm thinking about going the 2x12 route. But heck I'm not sure yet. Good thing about the Mini is you can pack it along to guitar shops to try different cabs, guitars and pedals and such with your own amp. Glad your getting one. Your Marshall cab would sound way better with V30s but it'll still sound good with GT75s.

Just pulled the trigger on a Mini Mesa Rectifier with black front plate and blue LED...best part? $899 shipped from the dealer. Best deal I could find without going used. This will be replacing my Express. I love the Express, but I really wanted the Rectifier tones and I thought I could get the Express to cover that and sadly, the Express just doesn't have the same gain structure. Plenty of gain on the Express, but just more airy and open and loose.

I think the black and blue look is sweet and right down my alley!

Tone report when she gets here! (the pic isn't mine, just showing the color)

Man, $899 (even the going rate of, what, around $1000(US) is still good). Sometimes I wish I still lived in the US when I see prices like that. Congratulations! I'm sure you'll love it.

I live in New Zealand and just bought a Mini with the 1X12 V30 slant cabinet. Amp: $1799(NZD); cabinet $799. Even if you take into account the exchange rate of roughly $1NZ to 80 cents US, it's still pricey. I'm not complaining, though. I have TONE! :)
