I just acquired a roadster 2x12 combo and am in love with it, unfortunately, it has already decided to test my patience. I popped it into channel three and it went silent, on further investigation I found that it was the only one set to 50 watts. When i tried setting the other channels to 50 watts, they failed as-well.

Any advice would be greatly apreciated

I don't know if it's the same on the roadster but with the LoneStar Special the tube rectifier is engaged on the 5W and 15W settings and the diode rectifier on 30W. The main symptom of the blown rectifier tube is no output on 5W and 15W, but sound on 30W, which sounds similar to the problem you're experiencing.

If it's a similar arrangement on the Roadster then I'd swap out the rectifier valve.

Hope this helps,

Simon

Thanks for the advice guys, I checked earlier and it looks like one of the rectifier tubes is not lighting up, so thats probably the issue.
