just got it about two weeks ago. sounds great.

Is that a blackface w/ black chassis? I've only ever seen pics of blackface 2CH DR's with chrome chassis.

Mine is the only I've ever seen with black face, black chassis, and black grills on front and top. (Although I'm sure there's more out there.)

Oh, and what's the serial number?

it is a 2 channel triple rectifier made around 96-97. I emailed mesa about it when I first picked it up. the serial number is i think 7601 I believe...something like that. So I am guessing it is the 7601 mesa triple rectifier produced at the mesa factory. the owner I believe painted the grill himself...but he did a good job.

Yep, it's painted. The blackfaces came with a black vent also.

Nice looking rig! I had a Dual Recto around that same serial...sounded great (like they all do!).
