I dig. I personally think it could use a hair more gain, but that's just me. The palm mutes aren't as crunchy as I like, but the tone is good.

I dig the 5/4 time too. Don't see that very often. Most musicians have a hard enough time playing 3/4, unless they're covering a song.

Expect a friend request from me and my band later. ;)

Cheers guys! yeah it's gettin there, final mastering takes place in a couple weeks, so will have the final tracks up soon,
more odd times, but also some diversity in some of the other tracks.

I used all three channels for the EP, so there is a few different tones and stuff.

The track that's up at the moment, is mostly channel 3 modern, with channel 2 vintage in there at about 3m 14s

Settings from memory was something like,

gain 1.30
pres 10.00
bass 10.30
mid 5.00 (had it wrong before - this is how it was mostly)
treb 10.00

Or there abouts anyway.

Thanks for the response!

Sounds cool, good job. Has that modern day Recto recorded tone for sure. Only thing that rubbed me the wrong way was that the rhythm guitar was panned pretty thickly to the left on parts of the verse of that first track, sounded a little odd with that Van Halen I "guitar on one side and bass on other" vibe. I much prefer a wider spread of rhythm guitars, but that's just my taste.
