I turn up my Mark 1 Re-issue and it craps out. Very loud when it does this, but I want my Power-Tube distortion sometimes 
Its sounds like crossover distortion, just a cheap piercing treble on 10. Don't tell me it's the speakers because I set the amp to tweed power and it still does that. I have a open twin cab with a celestion g12-80 and a fane so even with the power on 100 watts I should not be overwhelming the speakers, right? It was built in January 1990 or '91 so maybe it needs capacitors? Or is it the Mesa tubes. I hear they can be bad sounding.
