This is a recording my band did. It's our single "Punk Rock (Is More Than A Song)". For the guitars i'm using a 1999 Gibson Les Paul Classic with a Seymour Duncan JB Humbucker in the bridge. I'm running a Mesa Stiletto Deuce Stage 1 through a over-sized 4x12 Mesa Recto Cab. It was recorded at Azmyth Studios (http://www.azmythrecording.com/) here in Indianapolis by Ryan Adkins. We put our effort and money into this track and we are pleased with the outcome however I would still love to get some feed back from you all mostly about tone(guitar specifically) and mixing, and really overall impression of the track. Thanks for checking it out, feel free to download it and also if you like it check us out. http://www.myspace.com/dropoutkidmusic

oh fyi, the downloaded file will sound better than the streaming i'm sure most of you know that just letting you know.

Nice! I'll be sure to check out your myspace.
Also, how is the JB? I have a stock Gibson 498t in my les paul and I am a bit curious about expirimenting with other pickups...

I love the JB. The first one I had was actually in a Schecter C1 classic and it always sounds sweet. It has a pretty good amount of crunch and sustain without being to overdone. My problem with the classic's stock 500t was that it was a little too harsh and no warmth with my stiletto. The JB has a great late 50's LP bite and sounds fantastic. I would highly recommend either it or a burstbucker pro for any les paul

I think it sounded great! Nice clarity and mixing. The only thing that I would like to comment on is the drum sound in the intro. I personally think the tom sound is a tad dry and boring. Sounds kind of rough mix. Personally I think that it would give a fatter and bigger impression if they hit you in the face! Maybe that was something you were going for though seeing as it is a Green Day-"ish" track. Otherwise I think both the song and playing sound proffessional. Good!
