My almost finished Mark V rig........

Here is an updated look of my rig, I do not run the combo speaker at all while it is hooked up to the 2x12.I only use the combo speaker when I play at church. I finally received my road case for my 2x12, and the Mesa Engineering logos are not stickers on the cases those are the metal plates. My guitar is a MJ Mirage Custom loaded with the Liquifire and CrunchLab, they sound incredible in this guitar. I try to keep my pedal board as simple as possible, easier to trouble shoot. I run a pedal snake from my board to my amp, on the back side of my combo on the inside (not pictured) I have a furman power conditioner that powers my amp, TC Helicon Create pedal, and juice box. And I know I am going to get alot of crap about this but my amp pedal is signed by Michael Sweet of stryper. I saw them in December in Houston and I did the meet and greet, he was kinda caught off guard that I was bringing that to be signed. He asked me "do you like the Mark V, I love mine" and we talked for like 20 mins about random boogie gear we both have owned through the years. Super nice guy.
The only things missing from my rig are my EVM12L Classics (still waiting on those suckers, March 10th) and I am seriously pondering on ordering from boogie a Wicker grill for my amp and Cab. I think it would look so classy, other than it costing a total of $388!

Ive always dug stryper incidentally...if for no other reason the yellow and black attack yielded some awesome tones!Ive got the combo and waiting on the rec vert cab....was hoping the combination of the speakers would just be dreamy runnin it 4x4=8

I guess the reason is I run my amp pretty loud, and the combo just vibrates too much at those volumes.

Was playin with mine the other night at a friends hause...didnt notice any vibration from the combo....but after turning it up to about 5....I felt like Brad Gillis in the "Sister Christian" Video...I could do no wrong and the notes feeding back on me...well I could feel it to my spine.And thus,justified,the amp is a true joy.And while they arent paying me or anything...Tc electronics Gmajor2 could easily consolidate that pedal board.Not that it isnt cool....just sayin man.Sweet setup/

I have used the whole midi set up with my old triaxis and gmajor in the past, just like the ease of one pedal. I don't use any effects except for delay and reverb.

Thanks man! The story behind this guitar is interesting.....
I was looking for a new guitar 5 years ago, and while searching ebay I came across this guitar. The guy selling it had been trying to sell it for 1 month and no one bought it, due to the fact that its not a name brand. I recognized the style from the Collective Soul "Home" Live concert DVD, Joel Kosche plays MJ Guitars. He was wanting 2500 for it, I emailed him and offered him 1800 shipped for it and he agreed, So I sold my JP6 to finance it. I got it in and its incredible , its the tone and thickness of a les paul, the beauty and elegance of a PRS and the size and weight of my JP6. So for 5 years it has been my one and only guitar. This past Nov though I called up MJ Guitars and talked with the owner Mark Johnson and spoke with him about the guitar and its history cause the "serial numbers" on it were kinda odd. I gave him the numbers and it turns out that the company started in 1996 , my guitar was made in 1998 and it was the 93rd guitar they have ever made. He then tells me that the history of that guitar was different from the rest. At the end of 1997 as certain guitar player contacted them about making a custom guitar to maybe become his signature ax. The player gave the specs and everything that he wanted on the guitar and to bring it to his bands concert in 6 months in Los Angeles. He requested to have gibson classic pickups 500T's in it. They took it to him backstage at the show and he loved the guitar. He kept it for 4 months and played it backstage before every show. He then called MJ guitars back to inform them that he had received an endorsement deal with a company able to make him a signature single cut and that he would like to return the guitar back to MJ. The endorsement deal was with PRS and the player was Mark Tremonti, at the time he was playing Gibson Les Paul Classics , hence the reasoning for the Gibson pickups in it . MJ then sold the guitar to a guy in New york for $5500 , he then sold it to the guy I bought it from for $5300. The guy I bought it from never played it, due to the price he paid, he thought it was different and rare so he kept it in the case. Then of course decides to sell it to me, for 1800 LOL. So this guitar has some serious history and its absolutely the best guitar I have ever played and the last one I will ever need.
