MXR Zakk Wilde OD pedal

Would like to hear opinions on this pedal. I was interested it - but it was surprisingly noisy. I got a Ibanez TS-808 reissue instead. According to Zakk Wilde's website - he has it on full all the time. Please reply with your impressions.

I had one and used it about a week. It is a good pedal, i thought it was a little to bright and salty for my tastes. Comparing it to the Ibanez ts-9, it had more gain but the ts-9 had the mid hump that others talk about, i think the ts-9 sounds better. I currently use the OCD, the reason why i got rid of the ts-9 was its bypass wasnt that good.

It sucked the bass response out of my tone so I sold mine...

Thanks for the replies - I think getting the TS-808 was definitely a better choice.

I use mine as a paperweight
