This is the raunchiest, most aggrivated tone I have ever been able to dial in on a Recto.

I will dare say this is the tightest tone I have achieved to date of owning my Triple almost 2 years. I say this because I absolutely can not dial out a certain high end harshness without getting too muffle using Diodes.

I will also say that I dial all of my tones in with the tube screamer and it sounds like sheer poopie without it....so if you don't have an overdrive....these setings wll not impress you lol.

With all due respect......if you can't get a good tone without a stompbox maybe you bought the wrong amp.

Actually, do you run your rig with a power conditioner? That itself would help with the harshness you may find...

No, although I have used a power conditioner before and while it did do what everyone said it would do, I still can't make myself play using the silicon diodes on a Recto. I just prefer the tube rectifiers all the way around.
