MkIII Blue Stripe to Green Stripe conversion

Has anyone ever modded their blue stripe (or any other stripe) MkIII to green stripe specs? Would Mike B. at Mesa be willing and able to do this mod? I have both a green stripe combo and a blue stripe head. The sound of the green stripe is growing on me.

Yes, it's just as you've stated. The OT in the green stripe is 562004R-1. The OT in the blue stripe is 562003. It makes sense that the OT would be different since the power sections are wired differently. Thanks for all your help. Guess it's time to start shopping for a green stripe head.

The green stripe version is my preference as well. I've owned a black stripe and played through a purple on more than one occasion. My current blue stripe head was the best sounding amp I've ever owned until the recent addition of the green stripe combo. Who has a green stripe long head for sale?
