MK IV footswitch cable question

Does anyone know if it can be purchased separately from the footswitch ? I've never disconnected mine, are the connectors at each end and the cable itself unique to the MKIV or is it possible to buy a similar one elsewhere or even make one up yourself ??

You could build one yourself. Take the Ftswt to an electronics supply place and they can match the connector. The Ftswt end of the cable is soldered on directly so no connector there if memory serves me correctly. Putting a connector on that end is an interesting idea though.
