Pair of El34 was placed in two inside sockets.
What is a risk using this incorrect combination when running in Simul-Class?

dude, he's asking what happens when you do it...obviously he knows not to at this point or he wouldn't of made the thread..

Oh, yes, Mark is great amp!
**********************************
I don't know, how long time it was running 6L6 - L34 - L34 - 6L6.
All power tubes are replaced now.
I wonder, could other elemens be corrupted?

I took my IV to a local "tech" a few years back, they had it for over 3 months, I finally got it back and my tubes were mixmatched like 6L6 - EL34 - 6L7 - EL34.

now....

they didnt fix my problem that I originally sent it in for. Didnt seem to do much of anything except swap my tubes around and charge me $110. and these guys are "techs"?!??!

"Total protonic reversal."

As far as I'm aware it's the biasing that's the issue - in which case it should damage the tube rather than the amp. I could be wrong, but Boogie usually suggest mismatching stuff is fine and fiddling is encouraged, so I wouldn't worry if you've already done it.

THANKS THANKS THANKS
Amp works fine, all elements seem OK, my panic is over.
