I've been wanting to make a clip of my V, but I havent had much time to do so. I made some time this afternoon while the wife was out. Wasnt really feeling it, but my tones are there. I'm sure I will tweak them a bit over time. I have only had one gig with the head so far and no practices. And the next gig will be the first one with the 410. I cant wait to have practices again. I went to second shift for about two months and that cut them out, but back to firsts and we should have a practice next Tuesday and a gig at the end of the month. Cant wait to CRANK IT!

Cool! What settings are you running on channel two? It sounds like crunch mode, but the 10" speakers might be where the extra high end I hear is coming from.

Got it! Your settings are almost the same as mine, except I keep the gain around 12:00 and don't use the graphic or preset EQ. Time to experiment some more...

Im scared to experiment. I even take pics to not lose my settings, but I dont tweek much. I need to start tweeking, cause I may find something that I like more.

I've had mine since November, and I'm just starting to play around with the different modes myself.

Oh yeah, and I guess you can tell that I am a gain addict. I definately need to cut it back or my precence on my lead channel , cause I am getting a bit of feedback. It is rather noisy with guitar volume down too. It probably wont be that noticable at a gig though.(the feedback is a different story)

My basic rule of thumb is "The louder the volume, the lower the gain". This is especially effective in a band situation where you need to cut through the mix. For quieter home noodling, I have the gain up quite a bit more.

Sounds great!!!
Funny how the worst part about owning a Mark V is waiting for the next time with the band.
