I bought a couple IIC+ combo's recently that had the EV classic reissues and, after I mounted the chassis in head shells, the speakers were just sitting around. The vert 2x12 had zero bottom end when compared to my other thiels with EV's so I swapped them out today and, yep, it sounds like it should. Highly reco'd.
