What about the Badlander didn't trip your trigger?

Edit: Nevermind! Saw you other link to the triple rec mods you are peddling. Makes sense now!

Although, would love to see (hear) a direct comparison of the Badlander to the modded Triple Rec!

uh yea, i'm not peddling anything. not my company and i don't make a penny from the mods.

Honestly the Badlander is a bit of an insult to the Recto heritage. Mesa is only using the name to sell it.

well it is "rectified" hehe

There is some Rectifier DNA in the preamp design. Badlander has grown on me almost instantly.
I would not consider selling or trading an amp if it is one you desire to use without trying out the Badlander first. I would say this for any amp that gets released, more of a general comment. I am more old school or classic rock (that covers a wide range of styles). Shure the modern stuff is good too. Basically do the Led Zeppelin, AC/DC type of music. Some Scorpions and Deep Purple stuff, cannot forget about Pink Floyd. I made a 10 minute long video, comparing the Badlander to the Triple Crown. Mostly noodling around. Loving the new amp more than expected too.

Badlander vs JP-2C. Not really playing much, just some noodling around. Bad still has the EL34 tubes in it.

I did not care much for the 6L6 tubes in the Badlander. I would not say it is bad, just looses the bite it has with the EL34 tubes. Anyway, here is a comparison sort of between the Multi-Watt Dual Rec to the Badlander 100W running the 6L6 tubes. STR440 6L6, Gray Color code in both amps.
