I'm still waiting to hear when mine might be shipping. Sweetwater's site had it listed as "Expected in warehouse week of 10/9" until yesterday or today.

Shipping should be real real soon. I was at the factory on Wednesday, October 5th. Here I am holding one of these cute lil' amp:

Too bad but no... I wish I could have. I was VERY lucky to have that "private" tour around the factory. I got there around 6pm only 2 employees were still in there and Tien Lawrence (Mesa Boogie Product Specialist) was still in there and cool enough to walk me around.

Anyway, I'll be calling my local dealer later this week and order one. I'm sold even without trying one.

Did you visit Randall smith office upstairs? it's a very cool place... I had a tour too in 2005 during honeymoon in CA. (not very romantic place for sure but kid dream for me lol)

The tour thing is very cool! Unfortunately, the only three times I've visited Cali were in the Army when I did trainings at the Mojave Desert.

And yeah, the Mini Recto is incredibly cool.

I was off today so I dropped by my shop and ordered one. I was pleased to find out they were selling for $999 Canadian (Long & McQuade). Sweet! I have no idea when it'll come in, but I'm a big boy ... I can wait.

I also ordered an Orange TH30 head. Dual Amp order day! I asked them about the TH30 and they ordered it for me for $969; that's their list price :shock: :shock: I had to order one before our dollars tanks (Musiciansfriend has it listed at $1,199). At least that's my excuse :mrgreen: They confirmed that I won't pay any more; the only time they change the price is if it drops in price when your order comes in.

Enough about that. I can't wait to try out the Mini !!!
