Mesa Cab for my mark IV and orange 50 rockerverb

Well I'm using this mesa cab, seems to have two sets of different black shadows at top and botttom + the top is open back.
Lots pf people told me that for the sound I was looking for that it would be better with Vintage 30's in it + closed back.
Someone wants to trade me a 2 x 12 mesa with vintage 30's for my cab, should I trade?
Or should I sell mine and buy something else.. what about avatar cabs??
I will sell one of my heads, the mark iv I think, so keeping this one and buying another is not an option!

Random question: I also have an RV50 and i wanted to see about getting a mesa cab. Does it sound good? Does it cut through really well? Or does the amp still sounds super bassy?
