I recently saw this presence mod for the SOB amp and decided to post it up so it doesn’t get lost. I haven’t tried this mod so I can’t comment on the effectiveness of the mod.

What is the capacitor value in the circle and is the pot a 250 audio taper?

The cap looks like a 3nF cap. The pot could be either 250K Lin or audio, whatever you find meaningful.

I'll be doing that mod to my SOB after I order the 250K pot if I don't find one in my leftovers. Another post said they used an audio taper so I'll go with that.
I'll let you know how it turns out.
