Mesa Boogie Mark V virgin: 212 cabinet question

Hi Everyone, first post here.

So, I've just ordered a Mark V head and I can't wait to get my hands on it. Just a few weeks of waiting ahead, unfortunately there were no Mark V's in stock anywhere.. (Netherlands).
I also ordered a 212 cab af a Dutch brand, but foolishly didn't check the impedance. It is a 16 ohm cab, which I think will be fine with the Mark V head (at least a safe mismatch according to the manual)?

Do any of you use a 16 ohm cabinet? Does it have a very noticable impact on the sound?

The 2x12 would be wired in series with two 8 ohm speakers. You could always wire it in parallel for 4 ohms and plug it into the 4 ohm jack on the Mark V, if you don't want to experiment with safe mismatching.

I played mine through my Marshall 16ohm 4x12 and it sounded awesome!
