Mesa Blue Angel Screen Grid Resistor Issue

So I burnt a Screen Grid resistor on one of the EL84s in my Mesa Blue Angel. I'm going to repair it myself ,the problem is that it appears Mesa used a 1/2w 470ohm resistor for the screen grid resistor. This seems too low wattage but the pads on the circuit board don't look like they are big enough to take a 1w or 2 watt resistor. Will this be alright?

Better to burn out a 1/2watt resistor than a 2watt resistor and everything around it.
