my blue angel is acting up even though i thought i fixed the problem it was having
i'm getting a ton of loud static and no notes will cut through it.
its not tube related because i changed all of them out.

am i safe taking it to a mesa authorized service center?
anyone know where one is in michigan?

i don't want to take it to a hack, but i also don't want to ship it all the way back to boogie unless i absolutly have to.

Right on. Their website lists the who's who in Mesa authorized repair centers by state.

FWIW - I had to take mine to a local repair shop and called into Mesa to find out what they had to go through to get "certified" and it is not just an application process.

There are electrical repair certifications that need to be met as well as Mesa specific training.

When I called the local shop, I spoke with the folks there and was perfectly comfortable as they seemed very up to snuff on my amp.

Talk to them to get your own comfort level. Your station (the only one) in MI seems to be:

Al's Diner 232 Lumley Ave Jackson MI 49203 (517) 764-3617

The link for repair stations by state is:

Good luck.
