Hi all!
I recently became the owner of the Friedman IR-X preamp and am very pleased with both the sound and functionality. I think Dave has broken new ground by combining tube analog preamp circuitry with digital IR technology (power amp + cabinet). Dave - Genius!!!
However, I am a big fan of Mesa Boogie amps, my current favorite being the MARK VII. In my opinion, this is a masterpiece of guitar engineering. I am also confident that the Mesa masters are capable of creating a preamp similar to the IR-X based on the Mark VII and Rectifier amplifiers.
This is how I see my dream)))
What do you think of it?
