Mark V owners: Does your mark V have this inscription?

Hey! How goes it?

I have a mark V with the serial number ending in 330. On the back of the amp where the wings are listing the warnings, there is this inscription

The ending sentence states:
"Do not expose this unit to rain, moisture, or thieves"

I have not seen this mesa boogie "humor" on any other mark Vs. Someone said that they thought that it was only on the first 500 produced as a promotional thing.

Does yours have this? If so what is the serial number? Let's figure this out.

I'll have to double check on mine, I have SN#00042. I don't recall seeing it though.

ok. I think that we are seeing a pattern here. So far the few mentioned under the 500 mark have it.

I doubt it. I bought it new about a year and a half ago. I think they were available for about a year before that.

My Express 2:25 has the thieves warning; serial number 2205... My Mark V doesn't, and it's serial number is 16xx (not being secretive, just don't remember exactly :lol: )
