Mark V compared to the IIC+?

Irregardless of the input voltage to the power tranny, the components are seeing way more than 120V! I haven't checked a mesa or a mesa schematic, but I would gander that there is 350-500V (DC) going through there. However, the amperage running through the amp are low.

I've read from his tech when they were beta testing it on the last DT tour, Petrucci had said that the MarkV is dead as balls on with regard to the IIC+ mode...

dead on = good, balls on = good, balls can mean either in different contexts, dead as balls = ****?

Yes, of course! Sorry, I meant to say that none of the components probably sees the full amount of power that comes in through the tranny.
