Just hooked my 112 EV Mark IVa combo up to a recto OS 412 with mesa V30s and I really like the result...
more presence and top end available and 'crunches' better on R2 and LEad...
Cleans still really decent... Mesa seems to have solved the clean problem that V30s can impose on certain amplifiers...
I've always thought the Roadster had great cleans with V30s and now the Mark IVa seems to excel at clean with those speakers...
the EV is no slouch, just quite different
