I'm looking to purchase a extension cab for my Mark IV and the final contestants are: ALL Mesa products.

1) Wide-Body 1x12 cab.
2) 1x12 3/4 back tuned cab.
3) Roadster 2x12 closed back cab.

Right now I'm into 50's 60's 70's blues & rock (listening more than playing) and I am going to start Learning Straight ahead blues & Blues/Jazz to learn a little more chord voicing's and soloing techniques.

Any one that has knowledge or experience or even just an opinion or idea please pitch in.

I have a Mark IV Short Head and I use a vertical recto 2x12 with it, but I play rock/metal. The Mesa 2x12's sound great with the Mark IV. I would go with the 2x12, but thats just my opinion. Hope that helps ya.

Ya, prolly get some thunderous bottom end with that cab eh!
My MK-IV is the wide-body combo, it MIGHT mix up well with with a recto type of cab balance and blend differences.

Thanks for the imput :)
