mark IV and specific effects....

I have been using a fulldrive 2 for the past few years, but decided to get rid of it in favor of just using the amp channels with a clean boost to get out front. Now, I'm considering some fuzz. I'm wondering if there are any that work better or worse with boogie amps. Any input?

I've used a homemade fuzz throught the clean channel of my markIV. It sounded decent. I think using a fuzz along with any gain from the amp will result in some unpleasant sounds.

I second scottywompas. I don't think that the R2 nor Lead would sound very good with fuzz. If you run it through the clean channel you could run it on any decent tube amp and it should sound very similar.
