Mark III Questions/Mods/etc...

i am in the market for a Mark III....i am looking at multiple mark IIIs...and i have some question...

i know i want the C+ mod...i'm just wondering what other mods are good(needed) and just what's available in general...i will call Mike B. on monday (maybe tomorrow) but i'd like to be a little more educated on the whole thing before i call him...

also i'm looking at a few blues and a purple stripe...if i get the purple and get the mods done will it sound basically the same as the blue if i got the same mods done? or should i get the blue and get the mods? or should i get the purple and then is it possible to get it modded to blue and then get the mods?

I have a blue that was just modded to IIC+ likeness. The other mod Mike did was the R2 volume pot. I am not sure what else there is. As far as the what stripe you get, I think once Mike mods it, it will not really matter what it was before. The c+ mod sounds great...makes the clean channel cleaner and the lead channel sings more with a rounder top end and a beefier bottom.
