Mark III Mod Question

I just purchased a Mark III: 16xxx serial, 100/60, Reverb, EQ. It was a good price but needed some work so I sent it to Mesa. I need some advice on which way to go on the mods. From what I've read on the board, I am getting:

- R2 mod
- Reverb tweaked

Questions remain:

- Can I go Black stripe to Green Stripe or is the 'IIC+' mod the only
way to go?

- Any other ideas would be appreciated.
