Does any one have a schematic (and maybe some photos of the insides) of the Mk III footswitch? I know a simple on/off footswitch will do the job, but I have an old Marshall DSL footswitch with two switches on it, that I would like to convert to use with my Mk III. I wanted to be able to put LED's over each switch so I can see when what is on or off. I heard the Mk III itself will power the LED's on the stock Mk III footswitches. I'd like to have that feature with my project.
:)

Thanks in advance!

You will have to split the trs cable to dual-mono to control RHY-1/RHY2 and LEAD/RHY. It should control EQ on/off and REV on-off as is.

Be advised that the stock configuration is the LED is *OFF* when the LEAD channel is *ON*.

If you look at a Mark III foot switch, it says "RED = Rhythm". Same for the Rhythm 2 foot switch.

If you get a Boss FS-6, you can configure it so when the LED is *ON* it indicates LEAD is *ON* because it has a polarity switch for this, and you can still use unshielded cable for the channel switching.

Downside is the FS-6 uses a 9 volt.

Any foot switch used for the Rev/GEQ function requires stereo (TRS) shielded cable.
