Mark III black stripe?

As far as I'm aware my Mark III is a black stripe or no stripe. there's a little "X" or "+" in the top left corner above the power cord. Here's a picture, tell me what you think...

It's probably what you said it is .That's all . Check the serial number . Mine is the same way and passes the loop test , but it's still just a Mark lll under # 16000 ..... by still , I mean sounds awesome ...... !!!
