I found a deal for a Mark IIC+ with EQ and Reverb but no Simulclass.

Price was a 1000 pounds.


Is that a good deal for a mint C+ head with stepdown transformer and flight case?

Was messaging a guy on a another forum about this and he says he has original simulclass output transformers in stock, ready for a home inside a IIC+. Otherwise the amp can be sent to Mesa in the US for an upgrade.


I wasn't aware you could upgrade to simulclass?

Would you say its worth it to get the amp up to full C+ level?

You could upgrade from a 60w to simulclass if you could get hold of the poweramp board Mesa won't do that though, as they don't want to reproduce them.

Make sure you get the proper transformer in there....If I remember from a conversation I had with Mike B. on the phone, the 562004 is the Mark4 transformer and it will sound different from the original models.

If you have a transformer to put in, BY ALL MEANS DO IT!!
